A wedding can be one of the most important occasions of anyone's life, but particularly the bride. This is one day when she is the centre of attention and all eyes are upon here. A time to shine and sparkle.
The dress is arguably the most important single item of clothing for the bride and a lot of time can be put into finding the most suitable one. Combined with some nice costume jewellery , the whole ensemble will be photographed many times over and so it is important to find the right one.
Brides normally fall into three categories when choosing a wedding dress. They either wear a dress that belonged to a family member or close friend, they buy a new one or they hire one. It must be said that dresses are not cheap nowadays and an increasing number of people are choosing to hire.
Of course, it is not just the bride's dress that a lot of thought must be put into. The bridesmaids must also wear dresses which compliment that of the bride and again the choice must be made between hiring or purchasing.
If only life for the bride was as simple as it seems to be for the groom! Most grooms will wear rented suits and they are normally smart, neat but plain. This is to contrast with the bride and endeavour to make her feel as special as she deserves to be.
