Many of the European countries enjoy a well-deserved reputation for being centres of sartorial elegance. If you are ever in Spain, taking clases de ingles en Valencia, you should check out the local shops. Two of the famous brands, Camper and Mango both originate from Spain and they epitomise the style and elegance of the Spanish taste.
Another country associated with high fashion is Italy. Both the women and the men there always dress elegantly chic and you rarely see scruffy people who do not make an effort (unless they are a tourist!). Italian leather is second to none and if you visit Italy you should always look out for handbags and shoes.
Then there is France. They prefer a classic, yet elegant style. The thing with French women is that whatever they wear it just looks good on them. It seems so effortless yet the end result is always good.
Other countries, while not yet established as centres of fashion are up and coming. There are now some excellent designers in the Czech Republic and Ukraine. While not household names now they are ones to watch for tomorrow, so watch this space!
Each of the European countries has its own distinct style in the fashion stakes and each one can teach us some basic rules about how to look good.
