There are certain items of clothing that were launched decades ago and yet are still as cool as they were all those years ago. Anyone who has recently been to an Adidas originals t shirts sale will surely agree.
Many of the sports brands such as Adidas, Fred Perry and Nike are just as covetable as they were when they were launched and kids will happily wear the same brands as their parents used to when they were the same age.
Another example has to be jeans. There are some jeans brands such as Levi which just last and last. I know some people who are still happily wearing the same jeans that they bought twenty years ago. Still in fashion and still perfectly wearable if a bit frayed at the edges.
Then you have the real vintage items, such as jumpers and dresses, which were actually worn by our parents and hidden away for years in a trunk in the loft. These make some of the best finds when they eventually see the light of day to be worn again.
Many fashion items come and go but others endure and we are likely to be buying and wearing them for many years to come. Maybe in the future kids will be wearing some of the same brands as their grandparents?
