What Do you Wear on a First Date?

The eternal question – what do you wear on a first date? Whether you have met the potential man of your dreams through dating free online or at the local pub or club, you are bound to want to impress.

The question is, first impressions do count and you only have one chance at making him think that you are the most attractive girl in town. It is all too tempting, though, to dress a little too sexily in your attempt to look good. While you don't want him to think you're boring and frumpy, a dress or outfit which is too overly provocative can just end up making you look cheap. In all frankness, the cheap look, with over exposed cleavage or an over short skirt, is not good and may just scare him off!

One of the best strategies, depending on where you are meeting him, is to keep it simple. Maybe a little black dress if you are going to a restaurant, but not too short and not too low!

If you are going somewhere a little more casual you can never fail with smart jeans, boots and a white t-shirt or blouse. Sexy yet understated.

A simple outfit will ensure that you do not come across as mutton dressed like lamb, but rather confident and outgoing – you do not need low cut tops or short skirts to make you attractive, you are already gorgeous!
