You are Being Watched!

If you are fortunate enough to be on the television, either as a celebrity or a newsreader, you must never forget that the eyes of the world are upon you, and you should dress accordingly.

Many people in the public eye have stylists – but many do not and some should be tried for crimes against dress sense.

Sometimes you watch talk shows or News Video and wonder what on earth prompted that person to wear such a thing in public. And you equally wonder whether their colleagues are gutsy enough to tell them!

I will never forget one particular incident, although the guy in question could be forgiven as it was involving a very serious event. He had obviously been called out to the studio at an early hour, as the news was just breaking.

But it looked as though he had literally tumbled out of bed. His shirt was buttoned up wrong, looked as though it had never seen an iron. And his hair was sticking out in all directions! It was hard to take this subject matter expert seriously seeing him like this, he might have well turned up in his pyjamas!

OK, most of us are never going to be in the position of having to ever think about this, but if you do, make sure you are wearing matching shoes and that your shirt is buttoned up!
